Due to various construction projects, the university sports facilities at Königshügel will be severely affected in the next few years and the offer will be reduced permanently. For us it is clear that this is inacceptable! Appropriate compensation must be made for the lost spaces during the construction phase and in the long term, solutions must be found for an overdue expansion of the sports offer. It is not acceptable that the state implements the cheapest plan instead of the one that preserves and enables the most sports facilities. We have already been in talks with actors at the city level and will continue to represent our position and advocate for university sports.
In general, student representatives need to be more involved in decisions made by the city.
